Dedicated to Our Community

Fresno Walleyes and Havre Fire Dept_edited.jpg

The Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited recently helped in the purchase of a "Rapid Rescuer" 4 Man Water Rescue Kit for the City of Havre Fire Department. The Havre Fire Department covers a response area of nearly 2,500 square miles which includes numerous bodies of water along with rivers and streams. This much needed update replaces 4 suits that were 15-25 years old and that had significant leaks beyond repair. The new suits are capable of performing ice rescues and swiftwater rescues. We are grateful for all these firefighters do to protect people from dangers that waterways can present, especially in the frigid temperatures we experience along the Hi-Line. Fresno Chapter of Walleyes Unlimited is proud to be able to help secure these suits that are vital to water rescues. We look forward to continuing our efforts to serve our great community.

At this year's Fresno Walleyes Unlimited Banquet, we were honored to be able to present a $25,000 check to the Natalie Patrick Foundation. This money will help complete the Splash Pool that is slated to open this summer by the Havre City Pool. We are so excited to have this wonderful summer activity for the kids of our communities. Thank you to the Natalie Patrick Foundation for your vision and hard work on this project.
