TODAY’S WEATHER DISCUSSION AND FORECAST

..Good Morning.
..Temperatures really warmed up yesterday across the mountain.
..Today will be much like yesterday with warm temperatures, clear skies, and light winds.
..The morning marine layer will move in each morning then dissipate by late morning for the next several days. Temperatures in the Valley will be quite mild.
..LOOKING AHEAD:
..Saturday will be a little cooler locally but still a very nice day for the mountains.
..Then for Sunday and Monday, temperatures will cool down a few degrees as an area of Low pressure passes through the PAC-NW. This will bring a trailing Trough through SoCal as the Low passes to our North. Cooler temperatures along with gusty winds can be expected for both days. The Marine Layer may deepen enough to add fog to parts of the Rim as well.
..After the Trough passes by, we will have a brief period of NE winds behind the departing area of Low pressure Tuesday and Wednesday morning.
..TRENDS:
..As we continue to transition to a more Summer like pattern through May and into June, we will continue to be in this weather regime of random Lows in between areas of High pressure that will give us May Gray and a variety of weather. Temperatures will warm up then cool down as we transition to a more static weather pattern in June as a Pacific High pressure will set up over the Pacific Ocean to our West.

..My weather forecasts are derived from what I feel is the most probable outlook for our area. RC
