PLEASE NOTE THAT CRAFT SEEN OPERATING OUT OF THE CLUB ARE PRIVATELY OWNED. WE DO NOT HIRE OUT CRAFT, INCLUDING JET SKIS/JET BOARDS OR OFFER DAY LAUNCHES TO NON MEMBERS.
Our season is underway and we are busy dealing with enquiries, applications and new members. Though our volunteers will soon be holidaying, we will continue to deal with new applications and make every effort to welcome new members aboard without undue delay.

We’ve restructured our membership types and have greatly expanded the availability of our former `Reduced Rate’ subscription.
New applicants for membership who will not require our tractors to launch or retrieve have the opportunity to join us at the revised `Reduced Rate’ AND we will also waive payment of the £100 one-off entrance fee!

We are a popular North West water sports club situated beside the Squires Gate Lane Slipway, Starr Gate, Blackpool just a short distance from the end of the M55 motorway.
Owned and run by our members, we are a`not for profit’ club, which means no one makes a private profit from us and any surplus made in running the club is reinvested for the benefit of all members.
Our aims are simple, we promote water-sports and the safe use of all types of watercraft which can reasonably be launched on the local beach.
Members activities currently include sailing, kite-surfing,windsurfing, jet skiing, jet boarding, power boating, boat, small inflatable, jet ski and kayak angling, scuba diving, kayaking, outdoor swimming and stand up paddle-boarding.
Our clubhouse with its two secure parking compounds, is located beside a sandy beach popular with families. Weather permitting, members may launch their craft at any time of day and any stage of the tide.
