Now that summer has finally arrived our Fun Friday Beach Clubs are proving to be a popular way to end the week. BSC Welcomes 124 Optimists
Over the weekend of 14 and 15 June BSC welcomed 124 Optimist sailors and their families and friends for two days of closely fought racing in their Early Summer Championships. The fleet was split into three divisions with 77 boats in the main Racing Division, 33 in the Regatta Division, and 14 in the Coached Division. Coffee Morning Fundraising Hits £1000 After Second Event
First introduced in 2024, our BSC Fundraising Coffee Mornings have proven to be a huge success. In 2024 we raised £2,000, and our goal for this year is to raise at least £2,500 towards a new windlass for the Committee Boat. Merlins, Solos And GPs Shine At BSC
The weekend of 31 May and 1 June saw the club buzzing with visitors from the Merlin Rocket, Solo and GP14 fleets. The weather gods produced some lovely sunshine and plenty of breeze to give the 51 strong fleet some great racing to remember. Meanwhile ashore the galley volunteers and bar staff ensured everyone was well fed and watered and the sponsored beer (courtesy of some very generous fleet members) went down extremely well. More »
