We stayed at Cuan Beag for our honeymoon and it was everything we wanted and more! Beautiful well-equipped cottage with outside decking and picnic bench for outdoor eating, wood burning stove to have cosy nights in and stunning views of the sunset. Close enough to Portree for all the amenities, stunning outlook and so peaceful. Great location as a base for travel around the island. Can’t wait to go back!

The cottage is in a fabulous location with amazing ever changing views and lots of wildlife, with the water coming up to the garden at high tide. Well equipped with everything you could want and really comfy beds with stunning views from the windows. There is a lovely walk to the pier in Broadford with views in the distance of the Skye bridge.The cottage is ideally situated for touring Skye but also for visiting the mainland. The supermarket in Broadford is very handy with a petrol station too and the best view of any supermarket car park that I have seen.This is definitely one of the best cottages we have had the pleasure to stay in.

Cuan Beag is a truly wonderful, spotlessly clean holiday home that I would thoroughly recommend. It really has everything you need and more. It was a pleasure to return in the evening to this most comfortable” wildlife hide”, where our attention from the otter was only distracted by a passing white tailed eagle!

We stayed at Moeraki for one week. What a fabulous house! Photos don’t really do it justice. It’s much larger e.g. All mod cons and more. The views are exceptional – the house is literally on the seashore and went swimming (wetsuit!) most mornings. The hosts consider everything and all you have do is turn up and enjoy!

This house is in a lovely position only 15 minutes drive from Portree. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house was thoughtfully decorated and laid out. As we had kayaks with us it was fantastic to be so close to the water. We kayaked most afternoons and every time we were joined by seals who popped their heads out of the water to look at us! The bottle of wine left for us was appreciated as were other touches such as plenty of towels, cloths, toilet rolls, washing capsules etc. The owners responded very quickly to any questions we had but left us alone to enjoy our holiday.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Moeraki. The house is very large and there was plenty of space for our family of five. The house is right on the shore and the view from the living room out the patio doors is fantastic. We would definitely recommend this house and will be back if we are in Skye again.

This was our second visit to Cuan Beag and it was superb. The setting is magical and when you walk into the house your eyes are drawn to the magnificent view from the huge windows. Our second visit to this property which is in an ideal location with easy access to the rocky beach and is beautifully equipped and spacious. The views from the windows towards the sea are wonderful and it is a good location from which to visit other areas of Skye. The beds are big and comfortable and with two of the bedrooms ensuite and also a bathroom it would suit a larger party well. The owners are delightful and very helpful too if a problem should arise. We loved our stay here!

Everything you could wish for in a holiday home. From the well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and wood burning fire for the cold nights. We have been to Skye many times in the past 10 years and stayed in lots of different holiday homes but this has certainly been the best so far. Stunning views, great local wildlife from the comfort of your living room. Easy access to the rest of the island. I would recommend this home to anyone. Jenny and Dave have thought of everything and were very helpful. We will definitely return.
